Halleluia to airconditioning... today...for me...  it is the greatest invention of all time.  heheheehehe

the weird thing is, inspite of the blistering heat... i chose to cook   "chicken sopas" and breaded porkchop.

I am in the mood for something hawt!  (hot +hot = cold?!)

i am not in my usual mood.

i think i sweated my brains out today. hehehehehehe

i'm watching the news.  As usual... it's all about politics.  Why am i not surprised.  At least the GO candidates are leading the pack of wolves. (HA!) I guess, the dark horse is Antonio Trillanes IV (did i get his name right?!)  He didn't figure much in the pre-election surveys.  he wasn't even able to go out of his detention cell to campaign.  And yet he bested big-spenders like of Pichay and Mike defensor.  

Is this history repeating itself?!  I mean, Gringo Honasan was also a "rebel" with(out?!)  a cause more than a decade ago.... and he too was elected as a senator after the numerous coup d'etat he staged.  Now with trillanes....  he is the "leader" of the magdalo group who held a failed coup against the now president (?) GMA.  Inspite of the fact that many of his comrades in the group made peace with the present government, he remained steadfast and firm in his views.  He didn't retract the things he said and he still believes that GMA is not rightfully the Philippine's president.    And as of his latest statement, once he is an elected senator the first on his agenda is to impeach PGMA.    We'll just have to wait and see.

Another controversial figure in the political arena is Fr. Panlilio of Pampanga.  He is running against two giants. (Pineda and Lapid)  The former the wife of allegedly  Pampanga's jueteng Lord.  And the latter, son of Lito Lapid (a movie hero who can kill two people with just a knife and a lone bullet in his gun. hehehehe) and  currently the incumbent governor of the said province.  As of press time (naks!), Panlilio is  winning.  (by a very slim margin) followed by Baby Pineda and the not-gonna-be-governor-this-time Mark Lapid .   We will know for sure tomorrow.  I'll keep you posted.

(note:  news update....  Fr. Ed Pineda won the race by only 1,000+.   Wow.  That's what i call "divine intervention".)

Now, Last but definitely not the least, Manny Pacquiao.  Man, give me a break.  YOU ARE A BOXER  not.... i repeat... NOT  a politician.  Don't  let yourself be used by all these people who gave you false promises.    What will you do with a congressional seat except vote to not impeach GMA?!   If you really want  to "help" like what you said...  you don't have to be in politics....   you are doing well as a private citizen.  Just keep on doing your charitable works and people will love you more.  And one more thing, you said that once elected, funds for the development of Gen. San will come pouring in bec you are close to PGMA.   Well, u can now make yourself useful and tell her to release the funds to Rep. Custodio instead.  Darlene Antonino-Custodio won fair and square and we all know it.  You only got appx 50% of her votes.  Be the man that we all know  you are and admit defeat.  We will admire you more.  Goodluck on your boxing career.   Oh btw....  i don't think there will be victory motorcades in manila when you arrive home from a winning fight.  Your Godfather's son, incidentally, didn't make it, as well.  Tsk. tsk. tsk.
